Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)

Roger is a Mattes Method of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) Therapist and master teacher of the Mattes Method.

He has seen the benefits that AIS can provide to athletes of all persuasions at every level of ability, weekend warriors, and everyday folks who may or may not regularly visit a gym. They all see improvement from the restorative benefits of the stretching and strengthening AIS protocols. Additionally, renewing range of motion, restoring fascial wellness, and promoting increased circulation and oxygenation in the muscular and nervous system helps people clinically rehabilitate and prevent injuries caused by daily life as well as those on the athletic field, court or dance floor.

Many medical Doctors, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists, as well as others in various fields of therapeutic restoration, recognize the benefits of AIS. Regular use of AIS techniques help restore balance to the deepest levels of connective (fascia), muscular and neural tissues.
